ok so i just installed a mm panhard bar... i was running granatelli lowers with poly bushings and hpm uppers with poly bushings in the arms and stock rubber bushings in the rear housing... after i installed the phn, i removed the driver side upper arm creating the pm3l... now my issue is, the actual phb that goes across the rear, hits the sway bar... i tried to slightly bend the sway bar up using a jack, and that helped out a little, but am still having issues with them hitting each other.. has anyone had this problem? if i were to unbolt the sway bar, and waller out the rear bolt hole on the lca so that the arm can move up slightly, would this hurt anything? oh and i am running the stock sway bar from my 95 gt...

mine hits the sway bar also. mine hits VERY lightly and only over heavy bumps. i also have the Steeda HD sway bar and Steeda Adjustable sway bar. on a side note, being deployed makes me want to drive my car.

That's a rather strange issue. GMS lowers are pretty much a copy of the MM ones, so it should be all the as far as fitment goes with in reasonable tolerances. Are these the standard or the adjustable lowers?

Wow, that's really in there. Next thing I'd check is the location of the sway bar on the stock lower control arms vs. what you have on right now. Final thing that I can think of is that the panhard chassis brace was installed too close to the diff.

i followed the instructions to a T when i installed it... i measured 5 times and secured everything before i drillled into the frame rails... im wondering if the sway bar mount holes are drilled wrong on the lca's....

It's very possible. This is why I suggested to see where the sway bar mounting holes on the stock LCAs are. I'm gonna pull the driveshaft tomorrow, so I'll be underneath my car. I can get you the measurements from my MM control arms, and you can compare it then to your GMS.

Awsome!!!! Thanks!!!! I had a few guys saying that my sway bar is upside down so I compared it to a few others and it's the same... I tried flipping it just to see and hit almost hits the ground... I even tried a different bar to make sure mine isn't bent and had the same results... It seems as though the bar is too far towards the rear of the car like maybe the mount holes were drilled wrong...

Also I'm lookig for a set of stock upper control arms if anyone has a set laying around they want to get rid of... I have hpm uppers now with poly bushings that I will be removing...

Checked the spacing on the sway bar mounting holes on the lower control arms. From the center of the chassis bushing it's 3.5 inches to the center of the first hole and 7.5 inches to the center of the second hole. Hope this helps.

excellent thanks!!! ill check mine out tomorrow...

do you remember what the measurements were when you installed your phb??? mine was just over 4.25 inches on both sides when i locked it down... i even measured twice after the install and everything was bolted up to ensure nothing changed... according to mm they ended up with 4.5.... i know i measured correctly and both sides are square... that would be the difference and just .25 inches would give enough clearance...

thanks again!!! im gonna check this out tomorrow...

I did not install mine. I took it to a shop, and had it welded on.
