My car had the switch, it was wired to the harness, which was simply lacking fixtures plugged into it. And my bumped had the foglight holes filled with a knockout plate.

if you look on mustangworld.com they have a write up on how to wire the foglights to work independantly from the headlight switch, and it shows all the wiring to the foglights from the switch.

iirc it wires into the convertable top harness (all mustangs have the harness, even if its a coupe)

you need to buy the switch and it will fit in one of the piece o crap coin holder things and you will see your connector underneath you center console area. I suggest doing the independent fog light mod while your in there.

I converted my old 1995 v6 to have GT Fog lamps. What everyone else said, remove one of the coin holders and plug it into the right connector. I am not sure which connector, but trace the correct colored wires to the connector and just plug it in. It might be easier to remove the inside of the center counsel where the cup holder is located. You will also need the relay which plugs in where your fuses plug in under the hood. After that, just plug in the fog lights and your ready to go.

I think I understand for the most part...I didn't realize you just plugged the switch in like that.

I guess I need to get a switch
