Switching to LED Lights

I have a 98 Cobra. I want to upgrade the lights and fog lights. Is it simply plugging the new LED bulbs in or is there more to it than that?

leds have a different shape/design and output of the light. If They are best used in a projector style lense that would mean you need to do a retrofit. If you do just stick them in the stock holder be sure aim them down or they tend to be a little high/bright.

I had hids in the stock housings in my gray 02 gt years ago. Same concept. They did glare and the beam wasn’t great, so I swapped back to halogens.
