what can cause the forward countershaft gear bearing come apart?
i have a T5 that munched the front bearing and also broke pieces out of the bearing cap. it was totally rebuilt with brand new Tremec parts throughout back in january. The only thing not new was the case. i have run nothing but synthetic fluids in it and it has never been on a track. it's never been speed shifted in any gear. each gear change has been slow and deliberate even though i will sometimes go WOT once it is in gear.
it is back at the shop that built it because it is still under warranty. i dropped it off friday and will probably hear something monday or tuesday. they will probably man up and cover it, but i just want to be loaded with info if they try to weasle out of the warranty.
