T45 MGW Help?

So I bought a MGW shifter for my 98 down at Mustang Week. I installed it, setting the shift stops etc...it goes into every gear fine, but when in gear (mainly only 3rd and 4th), the handle is able to bob back and forth, is this normal, or did I miss something? I tightened everything possible, and still does it...any insight guys?

that happened on mine when I didn't rev match on a downshift on my v6. never felt the same after. felt like it was loose and I hate anything that feels loose.... LOL
