Again, looking for a new transmission since I was scammed on my latest junk. Will take a T45 or TR3650. Will have to work FLAWLESSLY. No grinding or popping out of gear. Looking to spend under $400. Or I have quite a few non car related items I could trade. Guns, Car and Home Stereo Equipment, $1000 worth of Nitro RC Car stuff.

Also have two trans that COULD be rebuilt if they would be any use to anyone.

99 T45 Lost all gears but 4th. Was just cruising along the highway at 70mph in 5th and lost em all. Never really thrashed on the car either.

04 TR3650 out of a Mach 1(Longer 5th Gear) Grinds pretty bad going into third and fourth. If you arent going fast enough it will pop you outta 3rd. Could be an easy fix but I dont have the know how.

Rebuild kits are like $300. Then giving a gun another 300 plus shopping another 300. Yeah ima have to pass I appreciate the offer though.

And full force sorry not buying a 96-98 t45. The tailshaft on mine is more than likely screwed.

If you buy a used 3650 make sure they have the documentation for the upgrade TSB's from Ford. I bought a used Mach 1 3650 that supposedly had 14k and it works, but it's difficult to get into reverse and won't shift smoothly until it's warmed up.

I know the T45 and 3650 will bolt up interchangeably but I didn't think the speedometer signal would work the opposite way since one is electronic and one is mechanical... or am I missing something?

duff daddy I would but I'm not so sure the tailshaft from my old trans is still in okay shape to swap over being its sat outside for so long. Not having a garage ATM sucks....

CWO The 99-00 t45 in the new edge gt is electronic speedo. You have to swap tailshafts from the newer to older for it to work in my 99.

Can you just buy Duff 's and buy a new tailshaft? Seems like that would still be close to your goal.

96/98 is also electronic the only deference I've seen is the 10.5" clutches and 11" clutches

My 98 from the cobra is not electric!! Our uses a speed sensor instead of the speedo cable. But the 99+ uses some kind of magnetic pick up instead of the gear..

Oh okay what I meant was electronic to the gauge cluster, not a cable or mechanical driven. And 96/98 cobras use 10.5" clutches on a 8 bolt flywheel, 99/00,03/04 cobras and 01+ Gt use 11" clutches.
