Well I hit a new personal best at the track on Thursday! She ran a 12.66 @ 110 mph on the first pass. The second I ran a 12.7 and the temp was cooling off pretty good. The third might have been the best pass ever but I fried 4th gear. I missed 4th and then as quickly as I could got it into 4th and then stayed in it. It ran a 12.68 @ 108. Then I noticed she wouldn't stay/ go into fourth. I was able to make it home as all the other gears were fine but fourth is no good.

I was thinking of getting a tko but was thinking of just upgrading my t45. What are you guys doing for upgrades? I was checking out the t45source.com.

My buddy has a new tko. I think he got it from liberty, (not sure though) and he likes it. However he got upgrades with it to help it shift no matter how high he revs spent like $3,000.00 on it.

I just can't get rid of my 5spd. I love shifting the gears. Im having fun at the track right now, but enjoy driving the car way too much on the street with the stick.

Gforce isn't worth the time and money, especially for a 4.6 car since u need a quicktime bell to adapt it. If I were getting a t45 upgraded, just get the billet shift forks from the source, that is the main and almost only problem with a t45,next thing to go with higher power levels is the input shaft, which u can also upgrade to 26spline.

Yeah if I go with the t45 source I am def going to have them upgrade to the 26spline.

I got mine built by the t45 source and highly recommend them. They honor their warranty too, I know this first hand.

congrats on the pass!!

my t45 is giving me similar problems. my fix:
go into the closest gear (3rd, in your case) and give it hell. Smash that throttle like you stole it.
Drive it around normally attempting to put it into the bad gear, but dont let off the clutch and go to the next one.

for example: my bad gear is 3rd. So when I drive normally I go first, then second, then third (dont let the clutch out) and then go into fourth.
then, once im in forth, i drive it like its my *****.

tranny works fine after that for 3 weeks at a time. then one day, it wont let me go into third. drive it like that for a few days and its back again. lol.
