:headbang: its finally done... i am now the owner of a stick shift car. Im going to get it retuned tomorrow and getting some little things straightened out. What would you guys suggest i use to cover the newly cut hole for the shifter... i picked up dynomat, but should i bolt down some sheet metal too? ill post pics for it later for reference.

it only covers the actual shifter, i had to cut larger than the shifer so it needs to be filled.

yes i did... found a wire connector hanging down next to the trans and looped the wires in it.

Thats a fun swap isnt it :) I did mine over the summer...I didnt put anything down there lol...i can reach under my shift boot and feel the trans lol...nice in the winter, its like a little hand warmer :)

Unless an auto's built, its not near as fun as a 5 speed. Congrats

it was built... 2600 stall and shift kit... but it blew up... now im gonna rebuild it and sell the damn thing... i dont mind it being open if it wasnt soooo noisy lol
