tach signal

Just wondering if anyone has a pinout or wiring diagram on how the stock tach gets its signal?

Would like to figure this out for when I do the motor swap this winter, as I would like to keep the stock gauges functional. Since the new engine will be controlled by megasuirt and MSD.

The car is a 1995 V6.

looks like you could just splice your out going tach signal into one of those wires to supply the existing tach w/ what you need. although the v6 cluster might have a different scaling to it so it could be off.
