Hey guys,

Wow!! It's been awhile since i've been on here, I could never get the damn page up!

Anyways, I've been thinking of getting new tail pipes possibly an cat-back system. I've been looking around now for about a week or two and I came across a video on youtube with a '95 mustang that had (I'm guessing 2 1/2 - 3") pipes running parallel with the bottom of the bumper (slightly pointed up, like on some foxes). Does anyone know what i'm talking about? if so pics plz!!!
I can't find the video again though :nonono:

Anyways I was hoping if perhaps we had exhaust clips for the different style? I know it doesn't sound the same but it will give me a rough idea. right now I have BBK L.T.'s, BBK H.F. Catted h-pipe, and my stock cat back with cheap glasspacks. I like how it sounds right now but i was hoping for maybe a little more throatier/loud, i know i could acheive that by an o/r h but I can't stand the smell ( I know that sounds dumb) plus i want to keep it fairly legal.

Any info. will help
thanks guys

i just put on a set of pypes violator cat backs in mine. polished stainless from muffs to tips. true flow through muffs, 2 1/2 all the way back. nice and quiet at idle and really puts out when you lean on the throttle. pretty noticeable increase in pwr too . not like the belly button droanmasters either and cheaper too .sorry no pics or sound yet . totally satified

I had the stock 2.5's on mine. I then got a 3.5" that looked sweet as hell. I deleted all pics of mine with that, I guess. I'm sure you can see pics of Mustangs w/3.5's.

bassani, borla or magnaflow are seriously THE BEST mufflers you can get, they sound the best. no offense

I'm a little biased toward bassani cause I got them they're quiet til about 2300 rpms then they kind of snap and belt out an amazing sound. Plus on the inside it sounds almost stock, no drone, and can't even hear it while cruising on the highway, but other people can, that's what's cool about it loud on the outside quiet on the inside.

borla's have alot raspier sound. Like a piece of grass is in the tailpipe flapping around or something lol but it sounds nice n throaty

magnaflow are IMO the best chambered muffler out there, and the magnapacks are only matched by dynomax bullets for strait thru resonators

honestly man...thats just one opinion.

i believe that exhaust is a preference and that everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

OP: i recommend going onto youtube or something and checking out different exhausts on your car.

that way you wont be disappointed.

That might be true for 4.6s but 5.0s are a little different, mine's quite loud at idle and around 2000rpm I get a pretty nasty drone, some say its caused by the shorty headers and some say its my Pro Chamber but either way there's definitely drone, and you can definitely hear it in the car on the highway...

i don;t notice any drone with my pypes cat back. it is not a chambered muff, it is flow through. i have a bbk catted h pipe. quiet at idle they may even be quieter than than the stock walkers but definately get louder when the rpm's get up there.
