Check/change your fluids and filters if needed, check tire PSI and have a fun trip

I know how you feel about the miles, I am at 69K now and am regretting when I hit 70K's

Gees I wish i could complain about ONLY 60K, My car is at 117K now, and there are several members on here with considerably more
mileage. But road trips are fun.. Make sure to perform a good check up before you leave, (suspension, fuel lines, brake lines etc..)
Changing your oil before you leave might help your gas mileage a little, and your correct tire air pressure will help too.. Have fun!

i have no idea what my actual mileage is, my odometer has been broken for about 5 years. by the time i found out that you can just change the odometer gear, it had already been like 2 years :(

i can guess it to be around 140,000 miles, and still chuggin strong, except the tranny but that will be taking care of soon lol

178k and counting, odo gear is stripped or whatever so more like 180. Never left me stranded, just check your fluids and etc. before you leave.

I use to be like that about mileage. One thing you got to get through your head is that its just a number compared to how the car runs and drives. You can have a low mileage car that is falling apart and vise versa. Make sure your car runs at tip top shape and enjoy.

I agree with that completely. We have a 2000 chevy suburban with 227000 on it and it runs AWESOME. We maintane it well and it has treated us well. We changed the original factory brakes at 160,000 and they were still over half good. only reason we had to is on my mom's insistence. Cars will last a LONG time if properly maintaned.

Noice. I love taking sports cars on road trips. much more fun than any 4x4 on highways.

Exactly!! hills arent a problem for me either, I dont usually shift down. just cruize right up them, usually 75 or 80mph. its great fun to blast past ricers on the freeway, out in the middle of nowhere.

Blasting past ricers on the freeway is always fun. They can try to catch up but never do lol. I just hit 160K and still running strong!
