The new Cam covers came today... :tongue3: :headbang:

I guess there was a little oil on the covers cause it transferred to the couch.... I better get that cleaned up before the wife gets home. lol I wont be able to have car parts in the house, lol.

They are soo much nicer than the painted Trick Flow covers.

I put on the same ones when I did my PI engine swap last year. They definitely worth the money. Good choice.

Were you surprised by the weight? I didn't even know what they were when they got here in the package. lol

$300 shipped. Cheaper than the Moroso's ($550) and better than the painted Trickflow (189 summit with a 3 week backorder) & BBK (300).


little rant:
I think BBK is generic like Kmart and to have "SOHC" & "BBK" raised off the CC is ugly and to me that screams, TACKY. I know what it is, I don't need to be told when I open my hood, lol.

It's kinda like those tards that have "MUSTANG" or "GRAND AM" plastered across their front windshield. Well No Duh!

Jeff has those. I smoothed them out and powdercoated them for him. They turned out pretty nice.

ive changed my BBK gaskets..... .. so many times i honestly dont remember....

to properly install the BBKs you have to drop the motor... thats the only way i could get mine to seal properly.
