Does it have a header on it and up pipe or just a turboback? With the GT30R the car made a lot more power than the shop that the dyno was at and the tuner expected because of the header and up pipe, also had a very noticeably different exhaust note.
Headers and up pipe are upgraded.
Nice, I wanted to pick up an 05 myself and keep the power mods to intake/header/up pipe/turboback/hardpipes/tune and wondered what it would make. I figure I could control cost and keep it my DD if I restricted myself to the stock turbo.
It would make a great DD. So expensive to mod. He wanted to get a Termi but he needed a DD.
Same case with my friend - not too big a Fox/SN95 fan, but LOVES terminators. He started with Cobb turboback, intake, reflash, then borrowed some money from his parents combined with his own to do the GT30R and front mount and clutch and fuel system and all that, then it blew a few months later while he was still paying them back, so had to borrow more for the new engine, and somehow snuck a fuel pump, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, wheels, gauges, and seats in there, all top of the line DEFI stuff Cobra seats SSR wheels. I always make fun of him, he has at least $30K into that car and it doesn't even make 500whp (and other than clutch completely stock drivetrain and suspension so he's not even done yet, completely stock interior/exterior other than seats/wheels). Honestly though, loved that car since day 1, very envious.
I'd like that charcoal color since I've seen a few of them around here in the PA dirt/snow and the color looks the same clean or dirty
