Temp question?

95 mustang gt i have a problem with my temp gauge it wont work i tried changing the temp sensor and even the whole cluster but get no results if anyone can help please...for now im using a aftermarket temp gauge wit is normal temp thanks

is that the only gauge doing it? Ive had a few messed up on mine before and it was a bad ground wire.

yea thats the only gauge that does not want to work the rest are fine......

Check the connector on the sensor.

Also, a stock 5.0L 94-95 will run as hot at 210 degrees F. Stock Thermostat temp is 195 degrees F.

I hate the stock POS. It doesnt tell you how hot your running. I picked up a Autometer one and I havent regretted it since.

Agreed, not sure what temp the stock gauge is reading but its not the motor. :)
An Autometer gives an accurate reading.

i have a auto meter electric gauge can i just splice into the connector on the stock sensor and run it off that...or does it call for a new sensor??

I would just get the proper autometer sensor for it.

just use the temperature port in the intake that the stock gauge is connected to and use that one. Your stock gauge will be dead but who cares it sucks anyway compared to the autometer gauges.
