TFS Elbow Hitting Tall Valve Covers

I have the GT40 tubular intake with 1" Phenolic spacer, 1" throttle body spacer, and BBK 70mm TB. I was told with these 2 spacers that i would not have issues. before i had a 1" and a 1/2" phneolic stacked up, but i didnt like it.

its just barely hitting the valve covers. my question is, does anything bolt in the hole i have circled in the pics below? i think i'm just going to cut off the tab thats hitting, as long as nothing bolts there.

I have the SVO elbow and I don't have any issue...

If I'm not mistaken, that's for EGR. If you're not running it - you can cut it off.
