thank god I own a 5.0

why you say that? equivalent TFS 5.0l heads cost about the same. the 185cc twinsted wedge for the 5.0l is $1895.00

and i bet they don't make the power these 4.6l ones do ;)

alright lets end this quickly. I traded for my heads, there are so many sets of TFS 5.0 heads around, that I literally have no money in them, whatsoever. So with that 1900 i could use 1k of it for one hell of a port job, and make much more power. There are fellas making close to 400 all motor with a small cube SBF thats nothing radical, for half the price.

not when they are the only heads on the market. Moneys money, regardless of whether they are used or new. I also seem to recall the fact I can buy near set of AFR's that are massive and capable of a 1000 horsepower for 2k also. Last time I checked, 2000 dollars doesnt change colors when it sees its being spent on a used set of heads, that are the same as new.

A 100% complete TFS top-end kit for a 5.0 including heads, cam, intake, valve covers, timing chain, roller rockers, gaskets, etc is only $2500. I think it is pretty well understood that the pushrod setup will be more economical. Let's not beat a dead horse here.

that's a good deal, if i didn't already have pis to port, i'd consider them

Fcuk 5.0's... There I said it. Modulars are better in every way except initial bolt on gains and the fact that the firing order makes a 5.0 sound like sex when cammed. That's it...
