The gov't mandate was in effect for cars built after 2002. I'm wondering if there isn't some extra
support bracing for this addition as well.

the 02 and newer brakets for the child seat are a add on part, U can get brakets at any salvage yard,bottom braket under seat, top braket at top of back seat, Sorry just scrapet the set I had did think any one would want them
