I have been working at my job :p. I worked all day friday and saturday and spent like an hour in the garage those 2 nights :p. But you have to realize, I am 17 and havent been working on cars this in-depth. Plus, I hate to get a pulley puller for the P/S pump.

Just pull the bracket with it all assembled. It's all easy enough. It's no biggie, I'm just giving you a hard time.

Ha, no prob steven, It was fun, I honestly enjoyed taking everything down, just listening to the radio in a nice heated garage, it was really peaceful. Sadly, my hands have seen hell in the past few days, mostly everything is 100% factory on this car, original alternator, heck even original water pump! I will get pics tomorrow of another project I have been working on for my car. Since the whole "black out" taillights thing got old for me, I took them off and resprayed the bezels and a friend messed one of the maskings up and paint leaked onto the tint :(. So I tinted my originals, and they look great! I will post before and after pics of course, but it will add some much needed contrast to the rear end.

I agree with the statement about pulling the pump with the bracket and pulley on it...it's really easy for a first time user to screw up the pulley with the removal tool and then you're buying a pump and pulley by the time you figured out what you did wrong.

I'm getting a new power steering pump regardless. If the internet had smell-o-vision, the pump literally smelt of burning fluid/electrical and the fluid was a milking grey. I also had to unbolt the AC from the bracket, I didnt touch the AC system as I dont really feel like re-charging it :p

You should get the brackets blasted/powdercoated while they're off. :)

I'm actually getting my dad to find his friend that does sandblasting then I MIGHT get them powdercoated black like everything else under the hood, but they will be getting sandblasted for sure! The car won't be up and running until early-mid march as the tranny still needs to get done :(.

No point till the snows gone anyway. You'll want to drive it so bad.

I'm waiting another month, although this weekend was a good weekend to start.

Do it! You can get a black crinkle powdercoat just like the intake.

Thanks, sadly though, the bellhousing bolts aren't long enough for the engine stand, so I have to get some tomorrow for it. Even worse news, I found what was causing my TOB to go(it is dry,but that aside) the bearing retainer that the TOB slides has huge grooves and crevasses cut into it, so that apparently causing lots of the issues I have been having like stiff clutch, hard to get into gear, metallic squeaking. I work after school until 6:30 tomorrow, so I MIGHT get the heads off tomorrow if I am feeling up to the task, but I can't do much until more parts come in for the engine and tranny.
