Those cars had insane torque steer. Almost had the wheel ripped out of my hands a few time. I just when bigger turbo, bigger pump and straight pipe kicked out before the rear tire.
IHI turbo who made those turbos is 30 minutes from my house. A friend of mines dad is an engineer there. Brought me home a nice upgrade for free lol

I put a 67 satellite together for some one
The engine was toast
Ended up rebuilding it
Lesson learned if you don't change your oil
Bad things happen to the engine
Just a kid that was learning had no idea what the car could do or be worthy
Yuuuuirrrpp....... I axtually had to explain to a guy today why there was a filter for the engine oil.....
Why do I read every @MustangChris post in Chris Rock's voice...
Grey market Mercedes was stuck on I35 in the middle of Nowheresville, Texas with steam coming out of the hood. I pulled over to see if I could help. It was a split upper radiator hose. Luckily, it split just behind a hose clamp. The driver had no idea what to do. I grabbed my hunting knife, cut off the bad end, and put the hose back on the radiator. It was now too short and the fan was going to hit it. I grabbed some wire and wired that sucker up out of the way. I had a 44 oz. Big Gulp I had just bought, and between that and what the dude had in his car we replaced enough fluid to get him to the next exit.
I didn't need the shovel, machete, or duct tape I had in the trunk... that time, anyway. BWAAAHAHAHA!strange person shows up in the middle of nowhere with a hunting knife and a wire... ...and this story has a happy ending?
I take it you are also a dodge guy ,Bought the car with a worn out 361. Built a nice 383 that got me in the low 13s with a 727 auto and 3.23 gears.
Good guess! My first care ever was a 76 Aspen with a 225 slant six and 4-speed overdrive trans. When I could afford toys I started with the Satellite. Had a pair of 64 1/2 Dart GTs with 273s, one hardtop and one convertible. 79 Little Red Express truck. 80 Omni with the DeTomaso package. Dakota pickup. Ordered a second gen Ram 1500 Laramie SLT extended cab with a 5-speed. Toy car before the Mustang was a 70 Road Runner 440+6 with a Tremec 5-speed, Edelbrock heads, factory Air Grabber.I take it you are also a dodge guy...
Oh, yeah, forgot about the chain saw! It was Texas, so...I didn't need the shovel, machete, or duct tape I had in the trunk... that time, anyway. BWAAAHAHAHA!
