Hey guys, I've been searching for about a week now trying to find some good setups for a glaze/wax or perhaps a sealant aswell. Anyways, I've got a '96 Deep Violet gt that will be receiving a:

Wash
Claybar
Pinnacle advanced swirl remover
Pinnacle advanced finishing polish

After those, I'm really trying to find a glaze/wax combo that will really compliment my dark purple car. Any suggestions? Outcomes? I will be throwing those on with my PC 7424XP. Have an orange CCS pad for the cut, then a gray (black?) pad for the AFP.

Only willing to spend about $50 on wax then whatever on the glaze itself. Will be prepping the HELL outa this car aswell even though it's not that bad.

Anything is appreciated.

I have never used the poorboys waxes but dodo juice has a big selection of waxes based on what color vehicle you will be using them on. Also Petes 53 works great on dark colors.

I was thinking maybe some EZ creme glaze, or WMF for the glaze part, but have had mixed feelings on waxes so far. Many people say that the prep work is 95% of it, for appearance wise. Maybe some petes 53? Natty's blue paste wax?

Kinda feeling like jumping on the ez creme glaze, with the pete's 53.. Seems to work quite nicely for dark vehicles... hmm

atm, I didn't have enough cash to get some jetseal aswell. I think later down the road I might try some of the WMF with the butter wet wax and see what kind of look i get out of it. Heard the WMF is gay to get off, but if it looks ballin' then it's worth it. I detail for a living right now so it's not like I hate making cars look good! Hard work and some beers is all i need.

You should cancel your order if it hasn't shipped, you can get Jetseal and Pete's 53 as a kit for $54, which isn't much more than the nearly $40 or whatever it is for the Pete's alone.

Trust me I would, but CG don't ship to canada, and the site that I get my CG stuff from doesn't have that same deal :'(

Thanks for the heads up though!

Also, anyone use that poorboys black hole show glaze?

If youre going to use the Black Hole (which I do a lot) I suggest this with your color. Use the White diamonds first then the black hole. I used this procedure on a friends Electric Green Roush, and it really brought the color back to a car that had sat outside its entire life before he bought it.

I also use this combo on my wifes Redfire 03 GT, and it makes the metal flake stand up and pop.
