Okay so about a week ago I noticed my theft light was staying on for a while. It would shut off about 10 minutes after starting it. Well fast forward to now and it wont turn off at all. I can turn off the pats system in my tune but I'd rather fix it and have it work like it should. Is there a way to diagnose it? I'd search but I'm on my phone most of the time I'm online these days and searching on the phone just flat out sucks ass.

Hmm thats just the instructions on how to program your keyless remote. My remote works perfectly fine. Any chance my spare remote having a dead battery has something to do with this? Its been dead for a long time though and I never bothered with it since its a spare.

True it is, but you never know the remote could be your issue being that old of a remote. I mean it may not be but reprogramming it probably wouldn't hurt. I'll keep searching see what I find

keyless remotes have 0 to do with pats. Although if it was pats acting up you would not be able to start it.....

Yeah havent had a problem starting it at all. Really tempted to just turn the pats off in my tune which would take me all of 15 minutes. But then there is the part of me that wants it fixed right and not just a bandaid fix.

Yes, disconnected the battery. That was the first thing I did.

Honestly dude after a quick Google search there's a number of things it "could" be. It's like anything electrical, there's a million things that could be causing it. They say things like a loose chip if your car is chipped can cause it but obviously you have a tuner, could be two wires behind the battery... The list goes on man.

Ima break out the laptop once I get a few hours of sleep. Insomnia FTL!! There has to be a way to diagnose it like a CEL I'd bet. If not then I guess I'll turn that shit off.

So I never have figured out this damn problem. And now since the car has sat for a week and a half the battery is dead from the light staying on..
