Just so you know, solid axle does just fine on the track. I've got a torque arm car, and I have no problems with rear traction what so ever. It's not as comfortable as IRS, but believe me, front end will let go way before rear will.

im not really worried about the track. ive never even been on the track with this car. its more for comfort

Yes I have, my car has one in it currently and its a 95.

When you do the swap go to your local parts store with a brake line coming off one of the calipers and get hard brake lines with correct fitting for it. On your GT the fitting off the T-block is the same size as the line that goes into Cobra caliper's brake line (rubber or stainless steel braided little line) but it becomes smaller for a GT's caliper

I have the part number for the correct hard brake lines from autozone. It's PA-330. 2/16" x 30" 4.7mm x 76.2mm.

You're gonna need a line bending tool and a brake line flaring tool to cut it and modify it to the correct dimensions.

Lemme know if you have anymore questions.
