Nice! You beat my stock run by .1 second . I wanna see what your thoughts are with the tuner. My best 60' ever is a 2.29 lol. I ran multiple 14.7's but couldn't break a 14.6. I can't wait to get back to the track with some better tires and maybe some gears. Nice runs man and good times :santa_afro:. I had a .001 R/T once I was pumped lol.

wait a minute... everything stoc you ran a 14.7 with a 97 gt

and with his 98 gt with intake and exhaust ran a 14.6 ? and 98 came with more hp than 97?

im guessing ur a pro at this whole "driving" thing

not enough more power out of the stock manifolds, which is the biggest difference, to cause any sudden gap in times i think..

yea headers would be a nice upgrade here. but also i know for a fact that becuase of the PI intake and o/r x the A/F ratio is out of wack. a better representation of my car will be after i get the tuner this week.

also thought about something earlier. on the scales with me in it, my GT weighed in at 3450. that means that
without me in the car(i weigh 200) that the GT weighs in at 3250. isnt that fox territory?

I had an MGW shifter and weld in flowmaster mufflers...that is what I called stock. It was [email protected] with a 2.29 60', the timeslip is posted in the track tech/dyno section. I didn't powershift it though and it was my first time ever dragging any car. I haven't run with all the mods in my sig yet though. I don't think a high 14 second run is too uncommon for a stock 96-98 gt..I know I was definitely happy with it though haha!

+1 to the gears..fo sho!!
But the short throw is called a "short" throw for a reason...... :santa_evil:

I could shift just as good with the stocker as I can with the Tri Ax...now it's just faster

its here in montgomery at UPS!!! it arrived at like 7 tonight. man im stoked, cant wait to see how it improves overall. Ill put up my opinion of both the tunes, if i see any performance increase on 87(im not expecting much on this one, lol) and when i go fill up with some sweet 93.5 entec gas, ha. so by this time tomorrow i will have at least one of the tunes tried out.

lol, no prob. you know ill tell u like it is, lol. PLUS (weather permittin) im gonna put the 93.5 tune to the test at the track THIS WEEKEND!. hopin i can get those times down lower. i was racing against a turbo civic and he was too close for my comfort, lol. he was runnin faster by a 1/4 of a second but i was a better driver( he had bad R/T's, was really inconsistent, like he would run 14.2 one run, the 14.8 the next) lol. kid was cool though, his civic wasnt all riced out. it was just a car that ran well, and served a purpose. i can give respect to those style imports.

lol my best friend from high school has had a civic since then as well....except he has always been faster. First he did an H22 swap...netted him a 14.7 or so. Then he turboed it. 12.9@113. This past year he sleeved the block built the motor and upped the boost 11.9@125. I need some serious work to catch him now :*(
