I've been sitting on the fence about rear window scoops for my mustang. I've looked at several and i only like the ones that just lay on top of the rear window and c-pillar, not the ones that replace the entire c-pillar with one that is pre-fabricated. Any thoughts? Or pics. Pics would be awesome.

i think a lot of us here do stuff to our mustangs that arent very functional but just looks good(front lips, cobra bumpers, etc)...

that being said, i honestly dont like the look of them but who knows. maybe you can make them look goodlol

The only way I would put something ugly likethat on my car is if it served a purpose. But its not mine so if you like it go for it

I beg to differ!
Agent47 ducts FTMFW!

But yea, these would be pretty pointless on a daily car...

those are ducts, not scoops, and I will trade you my 17" cobra R's for your ducts seeing as I don't think you have installed them yet haha

i don't think they look right. They generally have solid hard edges where our body's don't.

stick with the side scoops and call it a day.

Yeah, its hard to find scoops that curve or edge in the right spots. i wish i had a pic of the scoops ive seen. and another question, how would you make the rear wheel scoops functional? Ive heard of using them to bring air to cool off the brakes/tires and other things. would this help aerodynamics? im just trying to find a better use for them.

what year do you have? if its a 94-95 then they are already. just rip out the rubber louver in the wheel well. if you have a 96-98 then get 94-95 ones.

to make them any more functionally is really to only put a larger scoop, but really they don't do much other than cool off the tires which not sure how or why that would be good. it does look cool when you a burnout and smoke comes out there though.
