Throttle body..

A Local contacted me this evening need a stock 95 tb. He has a completely stock engine car but for some reason this was there apparently. Anyways he offered to trade it for an extra I had around. It a proffesional products 75mm piece. I am running an explorer intake an unmarked elbow shorty headers pipe. I am using stock injectors and maf also.
When I was installing the intake I did notice the the elbow was matched to the upper intake.
If I add this 75mm tb will this benefit or hurt me. I feel like it runs a little rich and maybe this could help???

its alot bigger then what you need at the moment and I thought 75 mm meant you would need to port the intake to match it. At least that is what eddlebrock advertises

With stock heads 75mm is overkill. You will need to match the elbow inlet to get everything out of it.

Whether it will hurt you, probably a little torque loss. Take it to a track or dyno, and swap the t/b after you make a run or 2 with the stocker.

Thanks guys I'm going to check this out today. Purchased an air grinder last night Sibiu should be able to knock this out fairly easily. The intake has already been matched but I'll prob just clean up the poor attempt the guy before me did. I do feel like this may help a little after looking at it. I'm also running a mAc cold air. Seem to bottle neck with the stock tb. We shall see shortly.

the bottle neck is really the stock heads. Until you open that up the stock TB is fine. Doesn't matter how much air can get to the motor if it can't use it well...
