The car has not been every polished with a porter cable 7424 or anything like that... Being a race car, Im no super concerned, but I would like to keep it as clean as possible and as deep as possible.

Recent I clayed the whole car and then waxed it. but I still have some deep scratches and lots of swirl I would like to get out... How long am I looking to take?

it will be with a rotary polisher... also what type of polish and compounds should I use? mainly to get the scratches out and swirls out, but wanna make it have a very deep wet look. Hoping for over the parts counter haha dont really wanna have it shipped to me by wednesday or thursday...

Thinking of using Meguires Show Car Glaze, some sort of polish, and then some nice wax. Dont wanna spend more than 50 bucks. GOnna be doing two cars by Saturday.

Mine is Deep Forset Green, and the other is a lighter greenish blue shade, dynasty green...

If you want the bomb results, its gonna take more than $50 with pads and all.

If you want a 2 step process, i Like the Meguires M105/M205 combo..... Or you could buy the CG Paint correction system which would be like $35-$30. The meguires is gonna be like $65 for the polishes.

This is what I have... Mikey is gonna be bringing over meguires professional polish too. He has the pads and everything, so I dont have to buy those. So Im hoping to have a very nice looking car for the ONE car show I do a year lol and for street driving and racing now. What do you guys think about those products? I figure they will work alright.

Let me just start by saying this....

You are gonna need ALOT stronger polish that Megs #9. Megs #9 is for very light swirls after you use a strong compound.

If you are looking for OTC products, 3M rubbing compound will work good.

Google "Meguires M105" and "Meguires M205". Those polishes are all you need before you can go straight to wax!!!

Thanks so much man... So can i just keep the number 9? Reason I ask is cause I can buy it from my work at discounted price. The 205 I will have to pay full price for.

key it, and use it when light duty stuff is need. Once you try the M205, you will never go back.

I personally like the CG polishes the best.... the new system handles business!!

After you polish, follow up with the glaze and top it with some wax.... Go find that Autoglym walmart wax before its gone forever. Great stuff!!!
