timing adjuster

recently just bought the steeda timing adjuster wanted to know if anyone on here had one installed on their car? if so if you have it more than 10 degrees do you really have to use octane 92 pump gas?and does this thing really make a difference?

I have the timing adjuster on my 97cobra, but I have always used high test (93 octane over here)

I have my timing set to 14*, but I'd imagine any timing added onto stock you should def. use high test....
