timing pointer..

im gonna check my timing bc my distributor bolt was a bit loose but i cant find the timing pointer :dunno: oh and dont send me to stangnet with that timing link that picture does nothing for me...

if you're standing at the front of the car, its on the left hand side @ the 10-11 o'clock position.

im being told by other people that our cars dont come with a pointer im assuming this is bullshit ?

Yes they come with one. It just might be dirty. Grab a light, look the near the balancer where ryclef said and clean it off.

wicked man thanks...im assuming i just match the numbers on the balancer to the tip of the pointer?

k i just marked off 10, 12, and 14 degrees now...the spout connector is kind of like a little grey fuse thing?

well my timing was exactly at 14 degrees :dancing6: kind of amazing considering the bolt that holds down the dist was loose and i simply tightened it and check the timing. it was right where i wanted it!!!
