if you never done it before it's def not going to be fun. Even the pre-cut tint stuff on ebay will be hard to put on. The side windows are not that bad, but when you get to the back window its a PITA! Just go have a tint shop do it is my advice.

it's a lot harder than you think. I'm all about doing things myself to but some things I just leave to the pros....I've attempted it a few times but never been totally satisfied w/ the results of my work

The reason i wanted to try it myself is cause every single window on my car is clear and i can imagine how much $$$ thats gone run to get it all tinted. Plus i be having to much time on my hands during the day.

Trust me... Let the pro's handle it... You'll get so mad about that back window.... It's not the easiest to work around...

I've tried it and came out looking like crap, the sides are easy as pie, just that back window....

the back window is a total bitch, just because of how close the carpet is to the bottom of the glass. i'd recommend just having someone do it who knows what they are doing.

I wouldnt even waste money on it, that you are most likely gonna have to spend for a pro to do it AGAIN. no need to pay for stuff twice

I went 20% all around and that worked out very well. Im happy, looks good but I can still see outside when it's dark. If you try it youself you'll have a whole lot more respect for how easy the pros make it look.

Cops generally seem to be ok w/ 20% around here....I would not go any darker in my area as that would be asking for a ticket. I'd get a few quotes I'm sure it'd be less than $200 for all 5. Some place run $100 specials if you lucky enought to live by one.

Since you're in FL, I do believe that 35% is the ''darkest'' you can go on the fronts...

NOW, if you pay cash, many of the tint places will do a anything you want as long as there isn't a receipt... I know because there are lots of people around here that have some pretty dark tint... And that is what I will be doing when I scrounge up the cash..

I've known a buddy of mine who tints for quite a while. He used to tint for a big car stereo/tint shop, but then opened up his
own business and is making hella money.. He only charged me $150 for 20% on the sides and rear. I may get 20% on my
windshield too... haven't decided.
