I have old school slash cut tips from mac and love them. My only beef with them is that they are a tad to long. I might modify the true fit catback to get them tuck in a little more at an exhaust shop, but yeah slp tips are best "rolled tips" I have ever seen on a mustang.

What do you think about how I positioned my tips? I hated them being straight out and sticking out, so I angled them upwards and moved them back a little....

I wanna see everyone elses tips too, because I may want to change my catback..... And tips are a big factor....

i had the stock 2.5" tailpipes that i didnt like, so a friend gave me some flowmaster 3" bolt-on tips.
they stick out a little too much, and they're too small for my taste, but for now theyll have to do...

there are alot of costs involved with side exhaust. You will have a hard time finding all the pieces in one place so you generally need to buy the plumbin, tips and the covers seperatly. Then you will need to figure out paint, installation... I think I paid $200 for the mufflers and tips, $350 for the sideskirts and then $600 for paint and install. This is all assuming you can find the stuff you need as it took me almost 2 yrs to find all the pieces I needed, this was 3 yrs ago for me.

The double tips do look perty cool but I still like the uniform look of the dynomax tips that fit the hole perfectly.

but the look that it gives is just like no other...

Absolutely, if I ever went with side exhaust I would use the same tips. They look awesome!

I actually have never seen another set of those tips in person funny enough. Not sure if they are that rare or what but I have been lookin and most do the dual conversion I assue out of necessity.

I actually polished the last 1" of the tip but not that you can tell. I would post a soundclip but the server I am on right now has youtube locked out(another reason to hate the hospital). If you do a search for 94 gt side exhaust on there it should show up. It doesn't actually show the car as I took the video from inside but it has a great sound too. I just added It makes me grin just drivin by one of those 3 ft tall medians to hear it reflecting back, and it also GREAT way to tell a rice fart can to shut up since its yellin straight at them.

plus, and I must be honest, it is so choice! if you have the means, I highly recomend picking one up(can anyone name that movie line?)

the dynomax kit was actually the best flowing side system made for the mustang from what I saw a while back. I bought a complete/used package but the sideskirts were too f'd up to salvage so I ended up getting a new set from a guy on ebay that has a mold and use to make a few set a year.

what mufflers are yours?

slp lm2's. we custom fabbed mine over at my buddies place. other than the bend coming out of the muffler there is no other bends to cause restriction and with flow through's there is nothing but free flow, plus it helps that the bends are manderal so not crimped.
