Tire opinions

I just purchased these today http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=LRS-1007SBA%20%20%20%201&comp=LRS and i was wonder whats a decent tire for the rear that will not screw up my spedo. Im really looking for the tire spec sizes and not so much the brand. Also i have 245-45-17s up front which are staying.

a 295 or 315 will fit well on that. Your not going to screw up your speedo unless you go with a taller tire then stock.

Yeah as long as you go in the correct manner as in sizing down the tire you should be fine.

Its not the width of your tire that changes the speed, its the height or the lack there of if you change sizes in that direction.
