TKX shifter position

For those who have installed a TKX into a 94-95 GT; where did the shifter position end up being in comparison to a stock T5?
Farther away from the driver?
I believe the TKX shifter sits 5/8" forward of the factory T5 shifter location?

Yes, I have to use a Fox bellhousing. I'd like to know where the shifter position is when a TKX is installed in a 94-95 GT.
Some say it sits toward the passenger side a bit. Some say the shifter sits in the factory 94-95 position.
I'm looking for actual experience.

Have you installed a TKX in a 94-95 GT? I'm trying to figure out what shifter setup I'll need.

My experience is with an early Viper T-56 (made by Borg Warner prior to Tremec buying their transmission business), not a TKX.
What I found is that the shifter handle was too far towards the passenger side. The stock handle mounting is on the right side of the shifter. I just moved it over to the left side and removed the rubber bushings. It's pretty much right where it was previously with the TR3550HD.
I realize this is probably not a lot of help. Sorry.
