Towing a 94

I will get my car tomorrow towed to a shop with a flatbed towing truck, but I never done this with this car and it is rare enough here that I am sure the truck driver will have no experience with such Mustang. Where do you attach the rope to pull the car over the flatbed?

The K-member is plenty strong for anything that has any business moving the car. If the tow truck driver tries to hook up to the radiator support be ready to step in that's not structural in any direction

2 tow straps on the front k member
2 tow straps on the rear axel each side of diff
Set park break and put in rev or 1st gear

Rope was not needed, it was flat enough to simply drive it up the bed.

the reason why tow truck drivers are scared of towing mustangs is when they have been lowered
they tend to Bottum out on ramps or the ground tail pipe hitting the ground
i put 5 foot of 2x6 under the front wheels once its on trailer it helps and tilt the trailer lower to rear

A good tower will have their own 2x4s to aid in this, some will even have their own jack… …but not two. I’m the only crazy person who needed two.
