I've been thinking about trading the 'vert for a cummins, but I cant come around doing it just yet. I think I need to drive some more trucks to get used to them, I would have a hard time trading my car.

There are some guys that are a bit weary of this deal! hell I am! just keep in mind even if there is something wrong with the Kewbra! it is still a better car than a Gt (base model wise)

I went from a 94 automatic Gt to a 90Gt 5.0l 5speed, that was great!

Then I went from my 5.0Fox to a 95Gt that was better...

Last but not least I went from my 95Gt to my 4v 1996 Cobra :la: and I love it soo much more than my Gt! i'm sure you will be very pleased.

say goodbye to affordably priced upgrade part's 4v cost a bundle to upgrade ( This may be the reason he's trading...) :confused1:

i'm sure i will be. and maybe but the most part that he is trading is because of his wife, i guess he is not gettin any until he gets an automatic lol

i know but i still gotta change out the gaskets and have the dash repaired. before i give it to him. i don't want him to feel like he is being jipped.

Have you ran the vin numbers yet? Got a carfax?

I would suggest both.

I know a guy who swapped his 93 Cobra for a 95 Cobra. Turned out the 95 was actually a GT..

The guy he traded bought a wrecked cobra and swapped all the parts to make the 95GT seem like a Cobra... Took my friend about 2 weeks and a few confrontations to get his car back..

So be very leary. You should swap for a day and drive it a bit before you trade.

Also Verts are very noisy compared to a hard top, the rear wheel wells are smaller, the car is heavier, that motor cost more to mod. Etc etc

But if its really a Cobra with no problems then yeah do it.

even if it isn't i would of traded for a slightly moded 5 speed gt. and i work for a body shop and looked to see if it was repaired before like major areas. core support, quarter pannels and rear end. everything check out a ok
