with the power you are making... the T5 should have lasted you plenty long...
sounds to me like you just cant drive!
*reason* My T5 has held up to my 5k drops while out racing... and I have a 347 stroker making ALOT more than 280-300

Most people can't drive even when they think they can, and this is not directed at you per se 1quk50. I've just noticed in general that popping the clutch and driving all aggressively tends to make your average person feel like John Force or something, when they are probably just simply beating on the car.

well i think for starters you should elaborate on your problems a bit more, it could be something like a broken shifter fork and they are right abuse will def. break a t-5 but to me it seems like your situation you just got one that was on the fringes of that line and normal driving pushed it over.

I'm pretty sure you'd need to change input shafts, and there may be a few other details - but that's a helluva deal on T5 internals.

That trans doesn't have a speedo gear on the output.

I believe it has a larger diameter, sometime around 99-00 the provision for the driver gear went away on all transmissions, auto or T5. However, any 94-up V6 trans will work, and they are all "wold class" with the high alloy gearset.

Stage 2 from who? Don't let some company sell you crap you don't need man, but yes, I would just rebuild it myself if I was you.
