I drilled and tapped it into the pan on the drivers side furthest back on the side. When you take the pan you will see why, there is nothing in that area to interfere with when the sensor sticks out inside the pan. I used B&M universal plug kit and just screwed the sensor in instead of the plug.
My temp averages 150 degrees during winter for in-town driving and during the summer its around 180ish for in-town driving in Houston traffic. All I have a small B&M tranny cooling with a home-made fan attached to it. Made the cooling system for $57 shipped..lol It is not the tube and fin design, but its the better style which I can never remember what its called.
Ill see this summer how the tranny cooler handles the new stall, got a feeling Im going to need to upgrade to a bigger cooler.
