Are all SN95 transmission crossmembers the same?

For example, will a transmission crossmember from a 1998 V6 work in a 1994 GT?

I am putting a T5 from a 1999 V6 in a 1994 GT with a Lakewood bellhousing. I have already swapped the input shaft and don't need a speedo as this is a track only car.

I purchased a 1994 GT roller but it did not have a transmission crossmember. The local "pick a part" is plentiful with V6 SN95's...

I think the v6 ones will work. Since you can use the v6 t5 on the v8 5.0 also. I have one if you need one.

Thanks SVTStang...

Do you know if the crossmembers for the automatic SN95's are different from the manuals?

If they are different, do you know the specific difference?

I expect I will have to do some fabrication due to my conglomerated combination...

Just as FYI if anyone else is looking for this information in the future...

I went to the "yard" today and pulled a trans crossmember from a 1995 V6 with a T5. When I got home a buddy of mine had stopped by and left a trans crossmember from a '95 GT with a T5 next to my door. He said that he had forgotten about it and found it in his garage this morning. Anyway, the V6 crossmember and the V8 crossmember are identical.
