Can anyone tel me for sure if a transmission out of a 93 Cougar 5.0 will work in a 95 v6 Mustang. Neither car is here now. My son thinks his transmission is going out on his mustang and I bought this cougar to do a v8 swap on another car with a stick shift so I dont need the trans. I would be nice just to swap this trans out tomorrow and be done.

Should. The bolt patterns for the 302 and the 94-98 v6s are the same, I believe, and they even use the same trans as far as I know.
Bell housing and input shaft length will more than likely be different.
