Changing the input shaft? Yes it will work.

Theres 4 bolts on the front of the trans holding the bearing retainer on, take those off, remove the bearing retainer.

Then all you have to do is wiggle the input shaft out. The gears are meshed together so it'll take a little wiggling like I said. There's like 10 needle bearings on the backside of the input, so BE SURE not to drop them down in the trans. Easiest way to do that is have someone pick it up, and point the tail shaft to the sky.

When you put it back together, make sure you use your longer bearing retainer on the 92 trans your putting your longer input shaft in.

As long as the '95 isn't a Cobra, you'll be fine. Takes 5-10 minutes, super simple

vibration at 4500rpm and up.... its not because of your transmission...

the only part of your transmission that is directly RPM related all the time, is the input shaft.

if I were you, i'd inspect the harmonic balancer first, clutch and flywheel second, motor mounts third... THEN maybe.... MAYBE suspect the transmission...

i replaced harmonic balance, went to solid motor mounts and trans mount. then went to a aluminum driveshaft.i even pulled out the trans to check the clutch . i just changed the rear springs i had stockers cut. i went with eibeck pro series on the back . i had it out today before the snow set in. it appears that it is fixed. not sure yet.the only thing i haven't replaced are the trans and the rear.this winter she gets the trans and the 373's in the rear. i want to go for 11's next summer. n/a. the best so far [email protected]s with 273's so i'm hopping that 373's will be enough to push it over the limit.now i have to wait alllll winter long before i can find out.
