Project update - Dropped the car at Fastlane Motorsports tonight for the final tune tomorrow!
I'm excited! I put 360 miles on the clutch and feel it's ready to rock!

Looking good man!
Thanks!

I WANT TO KNOW!
Well got the results today. It made good power, but I'm a little disappointed.
Guess I didn't figure in this damn heat and humidity would kill a big dyno number.

In the heat it made 590hp / 550tq.
Between the heat/humidity and the fact my engine has 90k miles on it, I guess that isn't too bad.
I really was hoping for 625+ out of it. My tuner said in cool air it would pick up around 10-20 so basically it should be around 610 or so.

Car runs great and feels good on the street however!
It dead hooks in 2nd gear (thanks R888's)

So for now the car is done. I will pull the rear out soon and install new bearings/seals, rear brace, FTBR IRS bushing kit, and some 3.73 gears.

I also plan to pull the top isolator off my springs to get the car a bit lower. I thought it would settle more, but it hasn't.

So overall I have a 600hp car that runs great. :headbang:

I know you're a little disappointed but that's pretty spot on with where it should be, and like you said, it runs great, it's happily reliable and will be for a long time at that power level. Congrats man!

I forgot until last night while cleaning my garage..... I have a 4# lower pulley and 3.2 alternator pulley left over from my Eaton swap I did on my Mach 1.
I couldn't use it on the Mach so I put it in a box in my garage.

I am running the Metco 2# lower now, so I think I'm going to put the 4# lower on there and see what it can do.
That should put me around 21# of boost so I'll put in some MS109 fuel or some Octanium to add a little octane boost.

Not to sound like a buzzard, but do you have any heatons left over??
Yep.

Actually I have quite a few parts if someone were to want to do an Eaton swap.
Here's what I've got -
Stock 2003 Cobra eaton supercharger with 2.8 Steeda pulley installed
Stock 2003 Cobra mass air meter
Stock 2003 Cobra throttle body and inlet to supercharger
Stock 2003 Cobra 39# injectors
Stock 2003 Cobra lower crank pulley with cage (spins freely)
Stock 2003 Cobra alternator (reman)
JLT Ram Air inlet kit with filter and adapter to stock meter
Stock 2003 Cobra belt tensioner
Stock 2003 Cobra fuel pumps/hat

Let me know if you are intersted in any/all of it and I'll hook you up with a price.

Thanks,
Ryan

I've had the H+R Race Springs along with the Maximum Motorsports isolators.
My car sat a little higher than I liked.
So I pulled the top isolator out and put a small piece of an old bicycle tube on the top just to keep it from straight metal to metal contact.
Lowered the car almost 1/2"! I like the look/stance now much better.

I also swapped out my last 2 stock pulleys for a set of Metco 90mm replacements.

What you use for the tensioner? The ribbed one
Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk

I am running a brand new Ford tensioner and ribbed pulley.

Got all that bling!

Haha! Actually I did this before any problems.
We've had 2 cobras in the shop this month for destroyed factory pulleys. When they go, it takes the belt with it.
So I went ahead and swapped mine out to be safe.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about - Thanks to VMP for article.

I also had to replace my driver side power window motor today.
Of course it failed while I was in a drive-thru getting my Boston Market chikken! HAHA!

So off to AutoZone for a new Dorman replacement.
$47 later and window now works great.
I had done the whole....slam the door trick for the last few months and the window would work.
However today it failed completely.

Anyway, new window motor is in and I'm good to go.
Been driving the car all week since it's been nice and sunny here in NC.
I love this car!!

Replaced my passenger side door cup and put in new lock/window switches.
My factory one had the broken top tab.

And here's a few recent pics since I removed the top isolators (using H+R Race springs).
