Yes, you'll need a tune. You wont have any sort of catastrophic failure because of it but the decrease in back pressure will screw up your Decay rate. As will switching your T/B. Also, as started above, you'll need your rear 02's turned off or you'll get a CEL. The rear 02's are only monitors and wont affect performance.

For a temporary fix you'll be able to do the IAC mod to adjust your decay.

Haha, I wouldn't do it...lol

LT's are already a pain in the Arse with just a manual. I've seen some cheap headers so poorly designed you couldn't change a clutch without dropping the headers.

No, that only checks and clears codes... After a full heat/coo cycle meets it testing parameters the light will be right back on.

Basically it's how fast the rpms fall after you let your foot off the gas. (Idle Hang and idle)

do it yourself. just drop the k-member, buy stage 8 locking header bolts and rachet wrenches. I put mac LT's on mine back when it was automatic. I did it in my garage when i was 17 with help from my 12 year old brother

I would a tune just because you could run into little issues here and there like I have. A tune would help with some headaches. I'm working on saving up for mine.
