So its been quite some time since ive logged in.. but im coming to you guys with some news. I never thought it would happen but I am getting out of the mustang game. Not sure how I feel about it because since I was about 7 years old, I wanted a Cobra. Well, I got one when I was 17 (now 2 months from 22y/o) and I have poured money and countless hours into my Cobra over those years.

In the next two months though, TXCBRA will be gone. I will be taking it to get a new paint job and fixing a few small things then up for sale she is.

In her spot, about a week ago, I picked up a 2003 BMW M3. Completely stock, SMG tranny, navigation, Oxford Green metallic... the car is just totally different than the cobra. I love my cobra but it was just time for something new. I have no clue how I am going to feel after I sell the cobra but I am pretty nervous about it. I feel like I am honestly putting a child up for adoption or something. But I just needed something that was more winter/bad weather friendly and honestly, the cobra cannot compete with the M.

Just wanted to fill you guys in. Be looking for the Cobra to be up for sale in a couple months. Maybe one of you guys would want to take it off my hands, then I would at least know its in good hands.

ill take a pic and upload it here in a hour or so. and i know texas winter is hardly a winter.. but idk my cobra just stresses me out way to much and i want something I don't have to worry about anymore. i do realize its a lot of small things but its just time for something new. i just hope i dont regret this decision down the road. which very may end up happening but right now, its just time for a change. i still have a 97 cobra also that I will be rebuilding the motor soon (motor is already done at the machine shop), just a stock rebuild, not a forged rebuild like mine.. so maybe hang on to that one. idk. but as of right now, i was just ready to get into something else. i have always loved M3's and its a great platform for a sports car already. I will just be doing very small things to it. exhaust and maybe a intake is it.. then a wheels and dropping it and the M3 CSL bumper/trunk lid and thats it.

ill have pics up soon!

so you are never gonna get to experience your cobra with the vortech on it :crybaby2: are you gonna sell it or keep it for your other cobra?

You will not like it the first time something breaks or fails.

I used to have a 95 E36 3series and 00' E46 M3. I just got an 92' E34 5series Touring for the wife.

My M3 shattered a piston and kaboom. It was cheaper to sell the car and buy another..
Even these older BMW's are kinda pricey for parts.. But my 95 318I had 180k when I bought it and i sold it with just over 300k on it 5yrs later. Still ran perfect and got 38mpg highway.

Lets see some pics? I love M3's

M3s are nice but as a guy stated above, wait until it breaks down on you..
also, putting the vortech on your cobra will change your mind about it.
