Twin screw supercharger

I found this supercharger on local craigslist. He says it's in good shape and it came off a 1990 truck with a 5.0. I would like to try to fit it on my 95 gt. Can anyone look at the pictures and tell me if there is anyway to fit it on my car, I can see right away that the throttle body comes out through the drivers side. Also what lower intake would I need?

Honestly i have never seen an m90 like that for a 5.0. You should ask the owner a few questions.

the m90 is not a twin screw it is a roots...

unless your getting it for 100 bucks or less i wouldn't even waste the time thinking about it

Also what kind of plate does he have to bolt it to the lower manifold? unless you had a vehicle with a v6 (like a ranger) then i would bother with trying to put it on your car.

Probably would, but you would either have to fab up a plate so you can mount it, or possible buy a plate (not sure if you can) from explorer explress. There have been rumors of a guy on the ranger forums that he is going to make his own plates to sell.

They made an Eaton M90 Supercharger for 5.0L Mustangs.

It was sold by BBK and it was called the BBK Instacharger.

It only gives you a gain of what a good set of heads would, 50-60HP.

I would buy it then, but my exploder is just a beater, and it rusts more and more every year. I plan on upgrading to an escape in a year or two .

we have an escape at work, i work for the city i live in, and it's a dog. It has a sweet first gear and will burn the tires off it thru first but after that it falls on it's face. plus it's just not been a good vehicle. it's been in the shop like 3 times, once for an oil leak, once for a knock where they replaced the heads and another was for a rear caliper not working correctly. anyways.. just my .02 for you lol.

I personally like the newer style Escapes a lot more than the older ones, they look pretty nice and the interior isn't bad either.

yeah we have like an 03 or 04 or something. i'd shy away from them.. ours is a p.o.s. I actually test drove a 2008 sport trac friday afternoon *looking to trade the ol lady's sixer for a more family oriented ride for the new baby* (i tried to tell her a termi was more family oriented but she know's i'm full of sh*t) but anyways it was a 292hp 300ft lb torque 4.6 v8 with a 6 speed automatic. that thing was pretty bad ass. it's the 3 valve modular and it will get out of it's own way. So we may end up with it since we both liked it and it's ford certified with a warranty for 6 years. i pulled out and down the road turning the corner i melted the rear tires off a red light. lol
