For the guys who are running 275/40/17's, were are they rubbing on the front of 94-95's? Looking to sell my 99 cobras and get 275's for my R's as long as they dont rub too bad.

I would imagine it all depends on offset and such...but I'm not familiar with those wheels. I've heard 275 up front is definitely possible though.

Largest I could fit and fit correctly was a 245 up front and I have a 275/40 in the rear.

I've got no problem with rub. I'm running 95 R wheels ok. At full lock the tires do touch the sway bar though.

The only problem I have is the rim rubs the control arm on the rearward side when I turn all the way... Otherwise no rubbing issues at all...

both sets of 17x9 frost wheels I had that ran 275/40/17's, rubbed on the control arms. They also stuck out of the wheel well and looked incredibly retarded.

Ive got 235/45/17's up front now (the tires were free) and they fit SO much better

I'll be running 17x9 cobra r's. Sounds like maybe i'll stay with a 255/40 instead. Really wanted to run 275's and be able to rotate.

Get the 275. I've got the same exact wheel that I use for track events, and it does not rub on anything other then sway bar at full lock.
