Universal Cut to fit Plug Wires?

The only set I think I've found was for MSD wires but the description isn't clear.

Do they make a cut to fit wire for the 4.6? Last year I ruined a perfect set of wires trying to cut and trim them to fit better. Now since my wires and coils are under the intake manifold I'd like them to be a lot shorter.

If they do make them, can you find me a link?

Thanks,
Mike

The only thing I'm seeing there is pushrod universal wires. Did you post the correct link?

Does someone like Ford Racing make wires for you (4.6)? Because Paul made a write up in the "how to" section of how to cut and loom your own wires. And the Frpp ones arnt supposed to be cut to fit, but with the right tool its easy.

I bought the FRPP 9mm wires for my 4.6, they are longer then OEM motorcraft wires but still a perfect fit with no trimming needed

Which is why I mentioned that the wires are longer. If yours is that much of a cutom setup then I doubt any precut kit will work.

I think one of us is confusing the other.... I don't want a precut/sized wire kit. I need to cut and assemble my own wires which is why I said I'm looking for "universal".

My plug wires at the longest point only need to be about < 12" long.

Ahhh..then it was my misunderstanding

Thanks for the help though, I'm still looking.

I use the precut MSD Superconductors. Excuse my ignorance but why won't that second set of wires work? Specifically...

They look like the long ends will fit the spark plug holes and the elbow ends would fit the coil packs. What year's your car?

Just buy a new set of terminals, cut the ends off your existing ones, and reinstall them.
