Updated gauge cluster

Alright, so Smitdavi inspired me to update my gauge cluster. It only took a couple hours and I think it was totally worth it.

Looks good!! I've got my cluster out at the moment replacing bulbs for leds may have to open it up... Did those chrome bezels just snap in place or did you have to glue them?

I did glue them on. They didn't hold in place on their own.

I painted the rings silver. Chrome didn't match up with the look of my interior.

53k miles! Cluster looks great! I was thinking about those rings as well.

i have had those rings for ever. they still have not figured out a way to get them to snap in?!

There's really no need to I also wanted to allow a bit of a glow from the sides

I'm glad you answered about painting the rings. I had only seen them in chrome.
For me the 4 smaller were able to snap in place but the speedo and tach required a couple drops of super glue.

Looks great. I have thought about those rings for a while. I was thinking about scuffing them up with a fine scotch bright pad to match. Painting them looks like the way to go!

If it hadn't been so windy I would have just spray painted them. I used some testers model paint and it turned out fine. I did wipe them down with alcohol. The whole project really didn't take more than a couple of hours. Get out there and DOET!!!
