That hood looks wild haha...are u gonna try to weld plates on the side and make it smooth? The matte black look is SICK too.

Sides as in the hood..yeah can't weld it though it's all fiberglass, but yes it will all be fiberglassed smooth.. Should turn out great.. And if not I'll hang the finished good on my wall and shoot some real flames on it and mural it lol.. Garage decorations!!

Awsome build man, I remember watching your build video on youtube when the car was still gloss black. I'm gettin ready to finally fire up my turbo build car as well. When running a megasquirt, does it require you to still use a maf and 02 sensors? I was hoping to ditch them all. Also what is the part number of the actual megasquirt? I wanna make sure I order the right part and does it come with the tuning software?

Thanks bro!!...I have the ms1 ecu with the TIP120 kit installed to control spark, yea tuning software is free I use tuner studio MS its a free download , also I paid an extra 40.00 to get rights for ve analyzer(auto tune of the fuel tables only) I just set what afr I want to hit at what kpa and rpm level and it fills it in for me.. Of course it may not be perfect but I have run 10 psi conservatively with it before on just the analyzer program.. I'm also running a total of 19* of timing at 10 psi as well. As far as the maf and o2 sensors you can ditch them the megasquirt ecu's have an inboard map sensor , the o2 sensor I have replaced with a wide and o2 and it's wired into my prosport controller. All the settings are easily programable in tuner studio.. The only reason I run a stick ecu piggybacked with this controlling the engine is because it controls the tcu for my aode transmission.. If I didn't have an auto car it would be ms ecu only plus the relay board kit to control the fuel pump etc. also the v3.0 and higher megasquirt boards can run low or high impedance injectors.. Sonic you can get a cheap set of low imp. 60/lb injectors. The ms injector drivers won't flip out they will just need tweaked on the in and output flow signals to control the driver properly.. It's a real basic system and very easy to control and super affordable..

You can get ms2 and it'll have more features and a 16x16 timing and fuel table on ms1 I have a 12x12 but I also have table switching enabled for anything over 100 kpa so ve table set #2 controls the boost spectrum and ve#1 controls drivability..

Ok after about 12 hourse of work.. She ran but I couldn't get vids yet because we had to get the trailer back ASAP..but let me tell you.. When it hit boost it's all over and spools so loud you damn near have to cover your ears..I'm extremely excited to finish her now!

Here are a few random pics though..
Got the hood solid enough for a trip to the new home so I can finish it there ..
