Well got more done on the hood today..

Made the support parts for the actual cowl and to help shape it

Screwed them into place, drilled the hole first, then went after with a much larger bit to countersink the head of the screw( don't penetrate the hood with the bigger bit just make the indention..
First hole

forcefed, what are the plans to prevent hood flex in the rear? i'm liking to know. i thought about adding a support brace and some kind of debris preventive mesh for the area near the windshield.

Yeah the rear will be enclosed but I will make molds so the hood will still be vented to get rid if engine bay heat.. Possibly an oval cut on both ends of the center brace.. The hood will be coming off of the car for that and final grinding down and ready for the light filler then..

oval with a slight arch would do wonders. i wonder how a small 15* radiused ramp would direct the heat.

Ok a tad bit more work on the good, I decided to contour the back with an old thirst to get my proper curve just cut the shirt up and staple it into place.. Use somewhat heavy objects , and duct tape to hold the shirt tight and get a good curve..

Line the bottom with cardboard so it'll hold the shirt in place, and keep resin off the car lol..

Spread your resin, pull tight and apply more,

When dry(which it's not yet ) trim and then go over it with actual fiberglass..
Next step in a few days guys lol
