im having issues of using paint but where the tshirt is closest to the windshield cowl use 2 arched oval. this would prevent fluttering and leave space open for ventilation. the ramp idea i went back on and thought it would be too much work and useless.

i have to install a dzus fastener bracket on the tip of the hood by the pony because it flexes a little.

Once it hardens over night, I'll trim up the holes then lay another coat of glass and fold it inside for strong wrap and adhesion..
What y'all think so far..
Oh and I'm thinkin the stang looks roudy w/o a hood lol..

is that a wood form you are using to get the shape of the vent? If it is you will need to be sure to cover it very very well and make sure it penetrates or it will start to just fall apart from the inside out once it gets wet.

One good piece of advice that could have saved you alot of time sanding is to mask off all the areas you do not want the resin to be. tape is much cheaper then the time it takes to sand off the resin where you didn't want it.

How much does it weigh now?

Weight really hasn't changed much, my wife is a puss and helped lifting on and off nonprob, plus as much as I have removed from underneath is absorbing a lot of what's being added..
And handz thanks, yeah it'll have to be a larger hood to fit the height of some of the intercooler piping.. Hood had to be recessed and notched just to be able to shut over the turbo alone..

Oh and no the shape of the vent is actually being made by the t-shirt I trimmed, I will remove the wood blocks as soon as all the work is done

Well got the Craigslist hookup again, found a 10.50 outlaw car owner who was doing some switching going to the pro charger f1x and what not and beefed up his seating .. So long story short I got another matching jegs poky seat with the cover, sliders, and this one came with the foxbody floor mount ( I won't have to fab one up now!!) so my son was excited because we got his seat for the car, and he's helping to install it, I'm going to let him lay the beads down with the welder on the back of the fox bracket to (make) it an sn95 bracket..
Good score, whole system for 75.00!!
