So i just ordered UPR's front and rear kit, and i know its a little early to call it a build thread but im going to be posting on here quite frequently. haha Anyways It cost me $1,098.98 shipped to the front door for all chrome moly, tig welded parts and the kit itself is just beautiful. The only thing i wasnt really sure of was what spring weight to pick so a buddy with a similar kit guided me in the right direction. Does anyone on here have the same kit (Im not so much worried about the rear as i am the front) and if so, what spring rate did you go with and how do you like it as far as performance over drivability?

heres a generic pic of it. Everything is the same minus the k-member. i believe its for a fox

ill keep you guys updated on the progress. Let me know what ya think!

I'm not sure how the anti roll bar is going to work out for ya on the street but the rest you should be happy with.I have pretty much all of that in my car except weight jacket lowers

just updating with some more projects that i have going on. I picked up an FRPP PI intake to replace my crappy dorman one and got a slightly used rack and pinion to take the slight slack out of my steering. Both just got finished painting. Here in a couple days im going to start my UPR K-member write up that way if anyone needs the reference it will be out there for all to see!

Knee deep in the water some where
I had the whole kit in my 95'. I would not do the anti roll again on a street car and didnt like the solid bushings in the rear control arms either. They are great for a race car but I would not do it on my daily again. Never had any real problems with the kit itself though. Fit and finish was nice.

Yeah for sure. I definitely dont want to run the roll bar because i know it's going to be a noisy SOB! Haha but the spherical bushing I definitely am going to run even though I know my rear suspension is going to sound like soild metal hitting every time I run over a bump. Lol

I hop you have better luck than I did on the UPR parts. Everything I've ever bought from them has fit like crap, if it fit at all. Good luck on the build though!

The ARB won't just be noisy on the street, you'll bend the downlinks running it on the street. It makes both side counteract each other for twist, so imagine the load put on it when you pull into a driveway or a parking lot. I would put it in for the track, but unbolt the downlinks for the street. It would take about 5 minutes to unhook/hook them up.

Sound like solid metal is putting it lightly. Teeth jarring is more like it. If there is any vibration(road, tire, rearend noise, driveshaft) you WILL know it,I promise!

hahaha no kidding, i have a buddy that has a F-body that has all spherical rod ends on the back of his ride and its pretty gnarly... hahah
